Background:
The house was built in the mid 1800s, about 1855 according to the present owners. The first reports of strange activity goes back to the 1920s when stories started circulating about it being haunted. The legends have several variations on the ghost, none of which have been confirmed by historical research. There is no proof that any of the stories are true, it all depends on who you talk to.
All the stories are set in about the same time period, the 1870s - 1880s. They involve the deaths of children, some say two, others four. One of the two most often reported stories involves a vagrant who broke into the house to take shelter from the winter weather. He was in the cellar when the homeowner discovered him. When told to leave, the man murdered the homeowner, then in order to cover his tracks went upstairs and killed both the man's wife and children. Afterward he realized the horror of what he had done. To avoid having to pay for his crimes, he went to the basement and hung himself.
Another story is that the homeowner lived there with his children, The kids were very young, generally said to be under 5. That story goes that the man went to the cellar to take care of something he needed to do. On the way down he fell and was rendered unconscious at the bottom of the steps where he died from his injuries. It was winter and a terrible storm was in progress. The children were upstairs unattended and were unable to go for help. After a while the fires began to go out and the house grew colder. Trapped inside with no one to look after them they froze to death. It was over a week until someone came by and discovered what had happened.
Since the 1920s the rumors and stories have persisted. Several subsequent owners have all reported strange activity at various times. Thumps, noises, items being misplaced only to turn up later. None of these were actually looked into or confirmed, in most cases they were just brushed off as nothing significant.
Current Status
The present owners acquired the property in the early 1990s. They reported nothing unusual. They did experience some problems with the electrical system, but that was attributed to its age. The wiring was the old knob and tube system and was in need of an upgrade just to meet current codes. About 2 years ago they decided to turn a part of the house into a bed and breakfast. In order to do this some renovations were required, including the electrical, plumbing , and heating systems.
A professional electrician was hired to begin this work. A new service was installed as well as branch wiring replaced. Shortly after that the new breaker box malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Several outlets and switches have failed. Breakers have tripped for no apparent reason. The electrician they hired could not explain it, he used all good quality equipment, a type that has never given problems in other locations. A second electrician has been consulted to verify the work of the first and said everything was according to code. The wiring was inspected as required for certification and passed. However occasional problems persist to this day.
One particularly irritating problem is the electric water heater. Periodically for some reason it does not heat the water. The plumber said the thermostat was bad on the element and replaced it. Worked a while then failed again. This has happened several times, each time requiring repair. The plumber also checked the old thermostats after he removed them and could find no reason for their failure. They worked good once removed and replaced.
Daughter's Experiences
It was the involvement of their daughter that convinced the owners to contact me. Their daughter is five and she like many kids had an imaginary playmate. About two months ago the mother heard her daughter in her room singing. It was on her birthday. She didn't think much of it but listened for a bit and could tell her daughter was singing and talking to someone in the room. She knew nobody was visiting so she stepped in to see. Her daughter was just sitting on her bed looking across the room. Mom asked who she was talking to and her daughter answered "Angela". She told her mother Angela had come by to wish her a happy birthday. Mom played along figuring that Angela was the imaginary friend. After a few minutes mom told her daughter to thank Angela for stopping by and went out of the room. As she started down the stairs, mom said she heard TWO voices singing at the same time. She immediately went back up to her daughter's room. Her daughter related to her mother that Angela said she was happy to meet her.
In another instance, the family was sitting at the table when the husband said he was getting chilly. It appeared the furnace wasn't working and he was going to go down and check on it. Right then the daughter started screaming and said he could not go down in the basement. She was insistent to the point she threw a real fit about it. Of course dad stayed to try to comfort her and after about a half hour she calmed down. Then she told her dad it was OK now and he could go down in the basement if he still wanted to. By now the chill had passed and apparently there was no problem with the heat anyway. The parents said this is totally out of character for their daughter.
Parents Thoughts
Both adults say they have heard sounds and banging at various times. They have seen what they describe as fleeting glimpses of light. These seem confined mostly to the basement or their daughter's room. They are not strong believers in ghosts, but when asked admit that anything is possible. They do report cold areas in the house at various times. They also indicate that activity increases anytime they do work on the renovations to the house. If they back off on work it seems the activity decreases.
Goals of this Investigation
Investigation Summary
Sunday, Feb. 5 6:00 PM - Arrived on the site and set up equipment to monitor activity in the basement of the house. The basement measures 26 x 44 feet with a stairway near the center. An addition on the back consistes of a separate room. We did not cover this area at this time, concentrating on the main area, especially near the stairs.
All equipment was operated remotely from the room at the top of the stairs. Monitoring was begun at approx. 9:30 PM and ended at 6:00 AM on 6 Feb.
Once equipment was set up, no one entered the basement except when accompanied. Several times we went to the bottom of the stairs and attempted contact. At times we had the basement lights off other times on. The IR sources were operated in a similar manner, sometimes on sometimes off. Logs were maintained of all entry to the area by any person, status of lights, status of IR sources, and any time either the furnace or water heater was on. The time stamp was embedded on the tapes every 15 minutes.
Results of data collection:
Over 40 hours of tape was recorded, no significant anomalies noted. We heard nothing noteworthy during real-time monitoring of the audio feed. The EMF monitors did not pick up anything unaccounted for. The dynamic unit did respond to a field each time the blower motor in the furnace turned on. The raw recordings from the cassette tapes are being kept, copies of each has been put distributed to investigators present. If anyone should detect something, the time is noted, later we will get together and confirm it from the original master tapes using appropriate filtering or decoding processes.
Intuitions about the House:
All of us had a feeling of heaviness about the place from the time we got there. I had been there previously to scope it out and devise a course of action. At that time I didn't feel anything one way or the other. Even this time it wasn't anything really noticable, it could have even been only the general atmospere about the evening that we allowed to sort of filter in. With one notable exception.
One of the researchers is somewhat intuitive. In her case, about 3:00 AM she began to feel really apprehesive about the night. It got to the point where she was physically ill and had to leave the room. We took numerous pictures in and around the observation room where she and the rest of us were located. I had those pictures processed and got nothing unusual. A couple small orbs that most likely was the result of dust we stirred up moving around there was all that showed up. After she had gone out for a while and regained her composure,she returned to the observation room about 4:30 AM and finished out the night with us.
Later when asked what had happened she said she didn't know, only that she felt like literally hundreds of eyes were watching her. She said it was as if they were all pressing in on her and depriving her of her space. She just had to get out of that room.
Other family members went about their routine as though we weren't there. That is one of the protocols of the investigation; life is to go on as close to normal for the people involved as possible. It is less disruptive that way to both them and anyone we might be in contact with. They all reported things as usual for them. When the daughter was asked about her imaginary friend Angela, she said Angela didn't come to see her that night.
The investigation ended and all equipment was removed from the house by 8:00 AM. We left and got a few hours of sleep before returning home.
Future Plans
I intend to also do similar coverage of the daughter's room. Hopefully it will be a time when Angela makes an appearance. The daughter says she hasn't been coming around as much lately, only about once every few days.

Investigation Update 3
Two members of the research team visited for an overnight session on Feb 20 - 21 as a result of increased activity being claimed by the daughter. She had been speaking with Angela dialy for the last four days and seemed somewhat agitated according to her parents.
She made several references to a fire in the cellar. When asked what that meant the daughter said Angela talked about it. When this was first mentioned, I wondered what it was about. We had done a thorough inspection and found no evidence of there ever having been a fire anywhere in the house. There are no supporting documents that mention there ever having been a fire in the house.
In view of the history of electrical problems recently I think another consideration must be made. That is that rather than a historical event, this mention of fire could conceivably be a warning of a future event. Naturally this is only speculation. While not enough details have emerged to say for certain, the daughter does say the fire is in the basement of the house. We will be interviewing her and attempt to draw out any details we can, when, what part of the basement, and the nature of the fire.
The video recorder is set up to monitor the daughter's time when she has talked with Angela. So far we have gotten nothing unusual. No video anomalies or EVP have been captured.
We also have begun monitoring the electrical system with a data logger on Feb 22. The logger is set to record any voltage or current fluctuations on the electrical cuircuits. It should be noted that since the breaker failure earlier there have been no electrical anomalies reported.
The entire team does expect to do a return visit within the next week. We will be monitoring for EM fields, sound, and IR cameras in addition to the standard video currently in use.

Data Retrieval and Follow-up Visit
On 26 Feb. The investigation team returned to the site for an overnight visit. The purpose was to (1) Retreive the data from the data logger and (2) Do a follow-up on site monitoring of the daughter's room to try to contact Angela.
DATA LOGGER
This was of particular interest since I had received a call from the owner that an electrical disturbance Saturday morning had damaged a TV and digital clock. The logger was in place and would have the data associated with this on file.
When we arrived and set up the other equipment, I checked the electrical data recorded. What I found was that over 40 amps had spiked on two different occassions on the grounding lead at the house. This is not a normal operation so I checked the integrity of the electrical service entrance (again) and found no problems there. I made a call to the power company and convinced hem to come out and check their equipment on the pole.
They scheduled that for Tuesday morning. While I could not stay and wait, I did call them Tuesday and got their trouble report. The line crew found a burnt / loose connection on a ground wire and some arc damage to the transformer. In addition, the ground rod at the base of the pole (not the one at the house) was severely corroded and not making good contact. This combination was causing the ground rod at the house to serve as primary return for both the house and primary of the transformer according to what I was told. All items have been repaired and replaced as needed.
For now we are taking a wait-and-see approach, but I feel this has corrected the electrical problems.
ANGELA
We also set up two video cameras in the daughter's room to monitor all night. One was standard video, the other IR filtered. Another set of the same configuration was placed in the basement. They recorded all night. In addition, both standard video cammeras recorded an audio track as well.
During the time we were there Angela did not make an appearance according to the daughter. We did however get one anomaly on the IR camera in the room. At 2:15 AM a light came from off-camera and illuminated the room. The light source could not be determined but there are no lights or heat sources in the area of the room it came from. It was sort of a diffused light, it caused objects in the room to cast a soft shadow in the IR spectrum. The light lasted only about five seconds then quickly faded. The daughter was asleep at the time. We had her in camera view while this was going on.
For descriptive purposes, the light looked like what you would get if a car headlight passed over an outside window, lighting the curtains from behind. In this case we know this is not the reason because the windows were in view of the camera and the light came from the room side, not outside.
The visible light camera in the room had been inadvertantly unplugged so that was not available to back up the IR image. (Our error...) Nothing was detected at all in the basement on either camera there.
On interviewing the daughter next morning she had idea anything happened, no dreams or any such recollections. She slept well all night, getting up only once about 4:00 AM to use the bathroom.
No disturbances or EVP were found on the audio tape. No other anomalies were reported by any present, either family or team members. Our intuitive team member who earlier experienced the episode had nothing this time.

Two members of the investigation team paid a visit to the residence for a follow-up after the daughter had told her parents that Angela had been coming to her nightly for the last few days. While I was unable to attend, one member who is a sensitive and another familiar with equipment was present. Equipment is set up in the room from our last investigation and it had not been used for the last two weeks although it was still fully operational, only a matter of turning it on and placing tapes in the recorders.
The daughter had gone to bed about 9:30 and the investigators were sitting in the living room discussing the case with her parents. About 9:45 the daughter's voice could be heard in her room and a decision was made to activate the recorders which were located in an adjacent room. The setup was done this way initially so the daughter would not be aware when the system was activated. By 10:00 PM Sunday the recorders were running, 2 VHS recorders and one stereo audio recorder. What follows is a timeline of events from that night: The only light in the room is from a nightlight which she leaves on every night.
10:03 Recorders are running time stamp is made to all
10:03 - 10:15 daughter is heard talking and singing. She is not addressing anyone in particular. By 10;15 she has fallen alseep.
11:04 -Daughter cries out once. Reason unknown, she may have been dreaming. Video shows no anomalies in either visable light or near IR. Audio tape is quiet except for her sound.
12:05 - Audio tape changed.
12:30 AM - Daughter gets up to use bathroom, returns to bed and goes back to sleep.
1:00 - AM VHS tapes changed
2:02 - AM Audio tape changed.
2:42 -Encounter begins. I will break this down by seconds for detail
2:42:30 - Daughter sets up in bed and speaks "Angela, Hi Angela".
2:42:36 "Mommy doesn't hurt me"
2:42:42 "No she doesn't"
2:43:05 "Mommy doesn't (unclear)"
2:43:17 Daughter screams
2:44:06 Mother enters room and begins to comfort her daughter. The investigators also go in and begin discussing what happened. Daughter mentions several times about her mother burning her. Mother is confused, doesn't know what her daughter is talking about. Daughter was asked by investigator when her mother burned her and the daughter replied, "not me, Angela" There is some discussion regarding this but nothing of significance was revealed here.
3:25 AM -Daughter is back in bed and tossing.
3:30 AM VHS tapes changed and audio tapes changed.
3:45 (approx) Daughter appears to be asleep now.
5:00 AM All recording devices turned off. Monitoring concluded. No further activity heard
7:00 AM Daughter is up, investigators are leaving with the tapes of that night for analysis.
I processed the tapes and found some very significant data. There is an EVP on the audio tape and a glowing moving orb on the VHS tapes. This all occurs at about the same time. To repost the sequence of events, this time including the activity:
2:42:30 - Daughter sets up and says "Angela, Hi, Angela "
2:42:32 - EVP sounds like a moan, no inteligible voice
2:42:36 - "Mommy doesn't hurt me"
2:42:40 - Dark area appears on the IR camera in one corner. No explanation at this time, may have been a shadow, but position of the light would not put a shadow in that location of the image. Also background noise level drops slightly on the audio tape. Both channels affected. Down about 6 db.
2:42:42 - "No she doesn't"
2:42:50 - Shadow fades and noise level returns to previous level over about 5 second interval.
2:42:55 - EVP of what appears to be crying. Sounds like a woman's voice, not a child.
2:43:05 - "Mommy doesn't" (unclear). It's the daughter's voice and repeated playing sounds like "set me" or similar. ("spank me"? speculation on my part)
2:43:16 - Glowing orb passes in front of visable light camera moving right to left. It is also picked up faintly as it crosses the same area being viewed with the IR night vision camera. Both videos capture it simultaneously.
2:43:17 - EVP "We hurt" Two voices at the same time on audio tape one is a woman the other has no vocalizations only fricatives, like a whisper. They are then covered by the daughter's scream. There may be more to that EVP but if so the scream completely covers it.
2:43:30 daughter lays back down and completely covers herself. She can be heard crying under the blanket.
2:44:06 Mother enters room. Note that EMF monitors were functioning throughout and no activity was detected on either of them at any time. Baseline remained constant.
The tapes from that night underwent later more in-depth evaluation, An EVP is present at 1:04 that sounds like a male voice saying,"I'm for you". Emphasis is on the word "for". There is no other correlation other than this EVP that just came in. Unknown if it has any connection to the later events.

Contact has been maintained over the last two months, however activity continues to be very sporadic. There have been no cases of unusual events related to the remodeling going on. The work is progressing without incedent. One section of the house has been completely gutted and an addition is being built at another. It should be done by December according to the owners.
The only incedent to report involves the daughter and Angela. On July 22 the mother noticed the mirror on her daughter's dresser was broke. When questioned about it she said, "Angela broke it but she didn't mean to." Later the daughter said Angela was sorry, it was an accident.
The mirror itself is about 20 inches wide and 28 inches high. It is mounted to the dresser and held in a wooden frame. Photos were sent that showed a single horizontal break about 10 inches from the bottom. There was no shattering like would be expected from an impact. Rather this appears to be a break more commonly associated with a stress fracture.
The investigation is still open and contact will continue. Updates will be posted as available. We do plan on setting up again for EVP soon, although this is low priority at this point.

Starting in February there has been an increasing amount of activity again. Consequently we increased our monitoring of the situation. A nearby association investigator has kind of taken over the day to day contact and keeps the rest of us up to date on any activity. We have also done several sessions in an attempt to gather more data. The EVP here was captured at one of these sessions where three investigators were present.
Description of EVP
This is an unprocessed wav file created directly from the original cassette tape. It was recorded using a dual channel mike system, electret mikes, EVamP2 mixer set with 6 db emphasis on voice frequencies. The audio was recorded using a Harmon Kardon CD91 deck on a previously bulk erased tape. The tape was verified clean prior to use.
The mikes were located in the subject's bedroom 6 feet from the foot of the bed pointed toward the subject. Recording session was continuous, this segment was taken from the session which ran for about 50 minutes.
At the time of this recording three investigators were present in the house. The intent was to set up and monitor for activity after the parents went to bed. We and her parents were on the first floor discussing our plans. We had intended to begin after the TV was turned off about 11:30 PM. The event recorded happened at 11:10 PM. The daughter was asleep in her room at the time, there was no sound to indicate she was awake prior to the event.

As stated earlier we were with her parents when all of us heard the crashing sound come from her room. We immediately went upstairs and met the daughter in the hallway running from her room. She was frightened and told us her table lamp was broken. She said it flew across the room striking the wall above her bed. There were a few fragments of glass in her hair but otherwise she was uninjured.
On the EVP you will hear a voice in the background. That is the audio portion of the television. I did notice some dropouts on the wav file. These are not present on the original tape, they likely are a result of conversion to the wav format from the original analog tape. I used Goldwave to do this.
The Evp is clearly heard as a whispery sound which builds in intensity. It appears to say "Leave me alone". The last word is partially covered by the sound of the lamp which was thrown against the wall. You can hear some shuffling as she got out of bed. There is a period of silence in the file. This was a condition of releasing this event to the public. Her parents did not want any identifying characteristics made public, so I removed this segment. What was removed is her voice, screaming once, then calling out, "Mom!" She also made a little whimpering sound as she jumped up in bed.
After she got out of bed, she ran across the room, opened the door and ran out, slamming the door behind her. This is clearly heard on the recording after the gap. There are a few sounds present in this commotion as well, some thumps and two low frequency sounds which possibly could be attributed to her running across the room. I can't say on that.
At the very end is a Windows generated sound and some noise which occurred during conversion on my computer and has nothing to do with the EVP at all.
Our Thoughts on This Activity
We asked the family whether anyone had done anything that might have triggered this sudden increase in activity. They could think of nothing. The daughter had not been mentioning Angela lately and they had come to the conclusion she was outgrowing it.The parents have expressed concern for their daughter and will continue to keep us involved as well.
With the negativity being put forth we also wondered about the possibility that whatever is responsible may not be as benign as we first thought. The parents agree with that assessment as well and have expressed a desire to bring in a pastor they know as well. We have no objections to that and he has agreed to work with us.

This summary represents the status of this investigation as of the end of May, 2007. Numerous events have occurred throughout the months of April and May. Most are rather insignificant in and of themselves, but do indicate there is an ongoing presence of some kind which is targetting the daughter. The activity is focused on her and there is some concern on the part of the family and us for her safety. We had suggested that possibly she might even want to temporarily stay with a grandmother until we can get some of this sorted out. The parents agreed and she did go for a few days.
However the activity followed her there. In fact durring the time she was visiting her grandmother there was some activity at both locations. She has since returned home and activity in the grandmother's home has ceased. We are continuing to monitor here. Though several events have occurred through May, two are particularly interesting.
14, May, 2007 - Psychic Impressions
We were on site doing a follow-up visit. There were three investigators present, one of whom is a sensitive. As a matter of routine we asked the sensitive if she had any impressions worth noting. She said that quite the contrary, in fact she had an unusually good feeling. That of peace, that everything was really calm and would remain so. She even said she felt this would be a few days which we should take some time to pull back and let things settle. It seemed a little out of place for her to make a recommendation like this so I inquired something like, "Wouldn't it be a good idea to remain cautious?"
She responded completely out of character with , "No, No. I see things have made a change here. Nothing is going to happen."
We discussed our course of action and decided under the circumstances to remain all night with all equipment continuing to monitor the situation. The sensitive remained as well, although she did tell us we were just wasting our time.
We had both video and audio monitoring in place all night on the daughter who went to bed at 10:00 PM. Things were quiet, the only activity was her turning over every hour or so as she slept.
At 3:10 AM the video feed went out, audio remained active. The monitor simply flashed bright white twice then lost all video including sync. This was also recorded on VHS. Our videographer went into the room quietly, saw nothing wrong, then replaced the camera with a spare. Video was back at 3:17 AM. The daughter continued to sleep through this activity, the audio tape does have the sound of the investigator changing out the camera, and nothing else. The daughter slept through the night.
Next morning she complained to her mother of a burning on her back. On examination she had thre small markes resembling bee stings visible. They formed an equilateral triangle 2 inches on each side. She had no explanation, only that they were there when she woke up. The video showed no activity, the only part unaccounted for was when the video was lost, 7 minutes worth. There were no insects present in the room that we were aware of, and sensitivity of the audio was high enough that we should have heard a bee had it been flying around. We could hear the daughter breathing so that should be a point of reference. The welts remained for a few days, burning, then itching, and gradually fading as would be expected of something like this. No lasting effects.
What we find significant here is that it seems whatever is present here is able to manipulate the abilities of a sensitive. When we discussed the with her why she was so certain nothing was going to happen she couldn't explain it. She said it was "like a peace was pulled through me". (Her words). She said this abruptly ended at the same time the camera failed. She didn't have any bad feelings then, only that the calmness left her.
The camera had experienced an internal failure in one of the LSI chips. There is no way to determine the exact cause, however it is likely internal to the camera. There is no way this could be caused by someone externally, however energy or a strong field could do such damage. There is no source for this kind of field in the room, and no EMF activity was measured. This is only one of several failures of electronic equipment we have experienced recently, most catastrophic requiring equipment be replaced.
26 May and 2 June, 2007 - Equipment failure and Physical Marks.
We were again set up and monitoring both video and audio on 26 May. I was not present on this investigation. At 2:10 AM the investigator present doing EVP monitoring reported the tape deck stopped running. He replaced it with a spare, and continued recording. No results obtained that night.
The recorder is mine, it was brought back to me for evaluation/service. I found that the motor bearing were dry, no oil at all. The lubricating pads were also dry. The motor was relubricated, including oiling pads, the recorder checked out and returned to the location on 2 June.
On this date it ws again used for audio work (EVP). At 2:30 it quit working again. Same symptoms as before. The investigator present began getting another unit ready for use. At 2:32 AM the video camera went out also. A few seconds after that the daughter screamed, the investigators and parents went immediately to the room. The daughter had two scratches on her arm. In a couple places they broke the skin, mostly it was as though only the surface of the skin was scratched. Very minor bleeding . Parents stayed up with the daughter for the rest of the night, the investigators put another video and audio recorder in operation. No subsequent activity.
The equipment was returned to me next day for evaluation. The audio recorder motor bearing was dry again, no sign of oil. No explanation as to where the oil I had just put on had gone. I relubricated it, this time using molybdenum sulfide grease. Recorder is working again, and back in service on the site.
The video camera had lost its CCD imaging chip. It was as though it had been pointed at the sun and burnt, although this took place at 2:30 in the morning, no sun. Camera was not repairable, new unit needed to replace it. No explanation for this failure. Note this was not the same camera which had experienced the problem earlier.
Investigation continues, new equipment to be purchased.

This update has been compiled based on events covered in several previous reports. It represents the opinions only of the investigators and others involved in this case. What is stated here is open to debate.
We held a meeting among ourselves in an attempt to determine what direction this case was taking in light of the changes that occurred since about February. An overview of the case was made and all factors we felt might play a part were considered. Several things became apparent, this summary outlines them.
What may Have Caused The Turn Around
Prior to this time the daughter had been having what would be considered normal childhood type "talks" with Angela. The parents were not overly concerned and figured it would be something she would soon simply outgrow. Unrelated to this, they had also been having some discussion between themselves regarding their religious beliefs and felt something lacking there. They attended a Christaian revival service and were soon baptized. It was just after this the event with the lamp occurred.
The investigation changed directions at that point. The sensitive in our group could feel a sudden darkness present most times she was there. (But note the previous summary) Angela seemed to turn on the daughter. The parents also could feel that something had happened, they could sense their daughter was in some way singled out and felt it was a direct result of their religious decisions. We brought in their pastor and outside consultant familiar with cases such as this.
It was our opinion that what had happened was whatever entity had been passing itself off as Angela was now using the girl to get to the parents who had "offended" it by turning toward religion. Also the daughter, to her credit, recognized that Angela was not her "friend" and also wanted nothing more to do with her. It was the opinion of those more familiar with this type of thing that as long as she recognized this that she would be able to resist anything "Angela" said or wanted. Those involved and her parents began to reinforce her and provide whatever support we could to strengthen her resolve to reject Angela or whatever this was. Their pastor also took a lead role in advising both the daughter and her parents regarding what was happening. We as investigators provided support by continual monitoring of any events going on and being there to intervene should anything happen.
The family is maintaining their religious convictions while doing their best to strengthen those of their daughter. Her young age is also a factor, everything must be brought down to a level she can understand it. In this regard the pastor is doing very well. There has been some activity, including the things covered in previous summaries and the equipment damage, but so far this where things stand now. We do expect something to happen soon however, and I will update after that event. The sensitive still reports this feeling of negativity everytime she is present in the house, however when the parents are also nearby she says it is somewhat moderated. It is her opinion also that whatever is there has sngled out and targetted the daughter.
What Is Next?
In light of what has happened over the last several months, we took a look at our original goals of the investigation to determine where we stand to date and make any changes that may be needed. The original goals as stated were:
We are continung to provide whatever assistance we can, however it may well be that the family through their own convictions and actions will be most effective in bringing this to a close. Their state of mind is crucial in this. We as investigators are observing and providing advise as needed for the most part. The rest will be up to the family. This report will be updated as possible.

As reported in the previous summary we expected something to happen shortly. The event which we anticipated would cause this has occurred, the daughter went forward and was baptised. We knew when this would take place and based on previous activity had expected some repercussions. What happened was just the opposite. Since that day there has been not one instance of Angela attempting contact.
The night before the daughter said Angela had told her that she should not go through with it, that her parents were bad people, and that being baptised is something she should not do. The daughter told Angela SHE was the bad one and to go away and not come back. The daughter called for her mother who came in and comforted her. After which she slept peacefully all night. An investigator was present in the house at the time and verified this.
After the baptism we kept an investigator and monitoring in place. There was no activity at all, equipment is operating normally, no breakdowns. Tapes have been scanned and no EVP present, nor any infrasound embedded. The sensitive who had reported consistantly that something dark was present now says her general impressions have changed. There is nothing present, "it is as though it simply left." to quote her. If you recall earlier she made a similar statement just before activity peaked, however this time she feels it's different. Before she said she said what she did, but still had a doubt. Now she says there is no doubt in her mind.
Right now we are taking a wait and see attitude. The consultant says this is unlike what he had expected as well. He is unsure what is next, but will continue to keep in close contact both with us and the family. For now all seems quiet.

Activity continues to be nonexistant. We did an interview with all members of the family and all report everything is quiet. We were particularly watching for any signs the daughter may have been holding back on telling her parents, however we could see no evidence of that. She seems well adjusted and is doing well in school. We continue to stay in touch with the family in event any activity returns. So far all is quiet.
